Hi Guys,
Starting a new topic specifically on the idea of Pedagoo Local Meets. Currently in discussion with Aberdeen College (thanks Duncan!) on the possibility of using there space for a first meet, or indeed a regular venue.
However, pedagoo local is all about collaboration between educators and so it would be great to hear your thoughts and ideas. My goal is to try and set up a regular meeting forum for educators in the North East, providing the opportunity for informal but effective CPD. In the same vein as a teach:meet, it might be a good idea to have set presenters for each meet, or a set amount of topics for discussion.
We have a huge area to cover in the North East and I’m really keen to explore how we get those outside of Aberdeen involved, from meets at venues outside the city to webcasts of meets, there are different ways this could be achieved.
Please feel free to share your ideas for the format of meets. Lets work together to build a vibrant and dynamic education community in the North East. Remember to spread the word about Pedagoo.org and specifically Pedagoo NE. The more people on board then the greater the potential of the group!

Sound good Stuart. I’d be up for presenting something. I really enjoyed the Teachmeets. I was waiting to present on a geocaching project we did last year. I’ve blogged it now but could still talk about it or something new. http://bit.ly/P67geocaching
If there’s anything you need help with then let me know. I’m also up for maybe organising a local meet South of the city if there’s demand.

I think sometime towards the end of October might be quite nice? I’m keen to meet, so add me to numbers, please!
