What is this all about?
#PedagooPrimary is on. Building on the success of Pedagoo’s many events, #PedagooPrimary will provide a collaborative, dialogue-based professional learning experience to any and all primary teachers who wish to attend, supported by ongoing learning throughout the year on Pedagoo.org. Attendance at this event will be free!
Why Primary only?
The Pedagoo community is open to all, and so are the events normally. However, for some reason there has been a disproportionally high representation from secondary teachers at previous events and so we’re running this event in the hope that it will help encourage more primary colleagues along to share and join in. This event is being organised by a group of practicing primary teachers.
When and where will it be?
#PedagooPrimary will take place on Saturday 9th May at Edinburgh East Neighbourhood Library.
What will it look like?
Pedagoo events take a workshop rather than a presentation approach. To reflect this and encourage discusion we are asking teachers to “lead a learning conversation”. We first asked teachers to sign up to lead a conversation and now we’ve opened the event to everyone else and you can now choose which conversations you would like to join in with.
In true Pedagoo-style this will not be a series of lectures but a day of workshops in which everyone is encouraged to get involved. Active not passive.
